Stats for PSA Written Content

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve teamed up with the PSA to add stats to their post-match written analysis. November saw the PSA Team break down Karim Abdel Gawad’s victory over Mostafa Asal in Malaysia, as the Baby-Faced Assassin continued his rapid return towards to the top of the PSA rankings.

We provided stats on Winner locations, where players set up their Winners from, number of Errors and rally length - all charts that long-time readers of our work will be familiar with. The PSA Team even out-statted us, with the incredible nugget that Gawad became only the second player to defeat Asal in three games since June 2022, after Fares Dessouky’s win at the Black Ball Open. Chapeau.

You can read the full piece on the PSA Website. We’ve been providing stats for the SquashTV broadcast of late, so it’s been a pleasure to extend that relationship with the PSA into the printed word too.
